JBU 2004 Conference Update

Seeking a focused time of fellowship, teaching and renewal with women serving God in similar capacities, almost 300 ministry wives gathered for the first Just Between Us conference, "The Balancing Act," in suburban Milwaukee, Wisconsin, January 30-31, hosted by Just Between Us magazine.

Braving below zero temperatures, they traveled from both coasts and many other parts of the country, representing over 20 states, to join keynote speaker, Jill Briscoe and a dedicated team of ministry leaders to explore better balancing their lives as they serve God.

"Those of us who are serving Jesus and want to serve Him better will find much to talk, pray, laugh and cry about together," said Jill Briscoe. And they did…

From a fun filled "Girl's Night Out" on Friday night to challenging keynote sessions, workshops and round table discussions, to deep soul-stirring worship, the goal of the conference was to send women on their way refreshed, renewed, challenged and equipped for their ministry ahead. Comments from the women who attended seem to indicate the goal was met. To God be the glory!
