At Just Between Us, our mission is to encourage and equip Christian women for a life of faith. We seek writers who are passionate about walking alongside other women in their faith journeys—offering support, biblical wisdom, and heartfelt encouragement to remind them they are never alone. We value authentic voices who are willing to share personal stories, reflections, and insights from their own faith experiences. Together, our goal is to grow stronger as we lift one another up through the highs and lows of life.
Our digital magazine has a conversational, heart-to-heart style, as if you’re sitting down with a friend to encourage and uplift her in her walk with God. If you have a deep relationship with Christ and a desire to inspire women worldwide through your writing, we invite you to share your gift with us.
Just Between Us tells heartfelt stories paired with practical tips to encourage women. We believe creativity and inspiration come from the Holy Spirit and value reflections that are created with the author’s unique, God-given voice. Therefore, we do not accept articles generated by AI.
We look forward to hearing how God has worked in your life!

Special Issues
These special issues have no deadline, so if these topics resonate with you, please reach out to our Digital Editor, Cherie Burbach at cherie@justbetweenus.org. Your words may be the encouragement someone else needs.
The Grief of Not Becoming a Grandparent
We’re putting together an upcoming issue that gently explores a tender topic: the experience of not becoming a grandparent. For many women, infertility, delayed marriages, or unexpected turns in life have led to the quiet realization that this hoped-for season may not come. Articles should offer space for lament, compassion, and honest faith, while pointing readers toward God’s presence, purpose, and comfort in the midst of unmet expectations.
Digital Gatekeepers
In a world where screens are everywhere, many parents feel unsure (and overwhelmed) about how to guide their children wisely. This special issue will explore how to create healthy digital boundaries rooted in faith, foster open conversations, and help parents feel confident addressing social media and online content with grace rather than fear. Articles should offer practical tools, biblical perspective, and encouragement for parents seeking to protect both their children’s hearts and their relationships.
Sexuality Identity
Questions of identity are deeply personal and often tender. In this issue, we will explore what Scripture says about our identity in Christ while thoughtfully addressing how believers can walk alongside those who are questioning or struggling with sexuality and identity. Writers are encouraged to approach this topic with humility, compassion, and truth—reflecting the love of Jesus while offering biblically grounded hope, wisdom, and clarity.
When Adult Children Go No Contact
Few experiences are more painful than estrangement from an adult child. This issue will gently address the complex and emotional reality of “no contact” relationships, particularly when parents and children hold very different perspectives on what led to the separation. Articles should acknowledge grief and confusion while offering spiritual encouragement, biblical insight, and practical steps for healing, prayer, and faith-filled perseverance—even when reconciliation feels uncertain.
Submission Guidelines
Personal, conversational tone filled with relatable anecdotes and stories.
Use Scripture-based advice and quotes from reputable Christian professionals.
Strive for a conversational, friendly writing style—like talking to a friend over coffee.
Keep it practical and relevant, applying Scripture to everyday life.
Use the NIV Bible translation unless noting a different version.
Capitalize ALL names and pronouns that refer to God (e.g., Lord, Savior, Teacher, Him, He, etc.)
