Christian Advice on Marriage

Christian Marriage Advice

Many people have asked, “What is the secret of a successful marriage?” The answer may be friendship. It is the most important friendship you can have, and it must be tended to with great care. In fact, have have you shared your appreciation for the love of your life lately? The spark might get lost a bit, between working, commitments, childcare, and life in general. Thankfully, it’s easy to bring it back with an encouraging word, a thoughtful note, or an unexpected peck on the cheek. And by building up your spouse, you’ll feel the love in your own heart grow.

"Love is patient and kind; love does not envy or boast; it is not arrogant or rude. It does not insist on its own way; it is not irritable or resentful; it does not rejoice at wrongdoing, but rejoices with the truth. Love bears all things, believes all things, hopes all things, endures all things." (1 Corinthians 13:4-7 ESV)
